My Story
My name is Morven and I am here to offer you guidance and support backed by educated, professional knowledge and personal experience. I turned my personal struggles into a passion project, that blossomed into ‘Morven Fertility Nurse’. My intention is to create a space to allow for comfort, understanding and support for anyone seeking help with fertility support or fertility health.
My journey started at the age of 16, when I was diagnosed with poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a condition that was affecting my menstrual cycle, body image and most noticeably, my mental health. I spent a large proportion of my teenage years and my early 20s feeling unwell, angry and confused. I was frustrated by the lack of support and I constantly felt unheard by medical professionals, which were the only professional outlet available at the time.
My personal experience lead me to being given advice that was not evidence based or supportive, this is a repetitive diagnosis pattern that leads to insecurity, frustration and confusion. Something I later learned is a struggle for many people out there, and this prompted my desire to create a space that brings comfort to these dark times.
I struggled to feel like I had any control over my wellbeing and my body and I wanted to create a space where I could provide support others. My goal has always been to create the space I needed during my dark and isolating fertility journey and so ‘Morven Fertility Nurse’ exists to do exactly that.
My unique background in healthcare and my series of personal fertility struggles allow me to offer a service that’s sole purpose is to ensure you feel informed & supported, with a range of specialised services to help empower on your path to parenthood.
